We apply a process of per unit grading, toll refining, and hedging.

Step 1

The first step is per unit grading. We determine what metal content is in each converter and weigh it to calculate its scrap value.

Step 2

Then, we send the catalytic converters to our trusted refining partners. They extract the metals from the converters using a chemical process and return the metals to us in the form of a concentrated alloy.

Step 3

Finally, we refine the alloy to extract the individual metals and sell them on the open market. We use a hedging strategy to protect ourselves from changes in the market price of each metal. This process allows us to get you the most money for your converters while still providing a safe and responsible recycling solution.
